My wife and I just ate here last night, I had the Pad Pek Thalay which is a seafood combination dish ordered 5-star hot, and she had the Red Curry with Chicken, as well as both enjoying the cold spring rolls and a soup. The seafood was very fresh and the dishes were perfectly prepared. As long-time appreciators of Thai cuisine we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. We have eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the Hampton Roads area and this restaurant equals or surpasses them all. In service and atmosphere it surpasses most. We will definitely be making many returns.
First time at Bangkok Gardens - mtnsee - Feb 22, 2008
It's a peaceful place, cool green, dark paneled wood, with soft oriental music playing in the background. The young waitress was friendly and brought me tea in a blue and white pot. I don't know a lot about Thai food, but it was pretty, fresh, interesting and good. Lunch was $20 for two and we took half home. I look forward to going back.

This was my family's and my first time here, and we loved it. The food was wonderful as well as the service. Would recommend it to everyone.
Good service .... - Jeffrey Kimmy C. - Feburary 25, 2011
Good thai food with very good service. Dishes are always tasty and plentiful. Great for groups because it has a very inviting happy atmosphere. I have had the spring and summer rolls, tom kha soup, beef salad entree, curries and pad thai. All have been very, very good.
